This page records material changes to the site: corrections to fees or facts, new or rewritten pages, and structural changes. We only change a page's "last updated" date when its content actually changes.

• Motilal Oswal tariff corrected. The review now shows the current published plan (0.20% delivery, 0.02% intraday, ₹20 per lot) and separates it from the older figures (0.50% / 0.05% / ₹100 / Value Pack / ₹299 / ₹199 / TRX20) that some third-party sites still quote.
• 5paisa annual maintenance and DP charges added. The AMC (₹300 a year plus GST after the first year) and the DP charge (₹20 plus GST per ISIN debit) are now shown instead of "not published".
• Broker-specific DP rules. Demat debit charges are now modelled per broker (per ISIN per day, per sell order, per sell transaction, per ISIN debit, or a percentage) with male/female fees, GST, waivers, sources and a verified date.
• Brokerage calculator updated. It now takes the number of sell orders and an account holder's gender, and applies each broker's own DP rule.
• DP charges guide rewritten around a comparison table and worked examples, replacing the old wording that generalised the charge as a single per-scrip-per-day fee across brokers.
• HDFC Securities renamed to "HDFC SKY by HDFC Securities". The review moved to /broker-reviews/hdfc-sky/; the old URL 301-redirects. The legacy HDFC Securities plans are kept separate.
• Zerodha: women first-holders' discounted DP fee and the AMC waiver from 1 June 2026 are shown.
• Kotak and Sharekhan demat charges added; conflicting sources are displayed rather than hidden.
• Historical URL audit published (Wayback Machine): old URLs are restored, redirected to the closest current page, or return 410 Gone.
• Bylines standardised to "Researched and written by the BestStockBrokerIndia Editorial Team"; no individual names or unverifiable credentials are used.
