Privacy Policy

What information Best Stock Broker India collects, how Google AdSense and analytics cookies are used, and your privacy choices and rights.

Last updated

This privacy policy explains what information is collected when you visit beststockbrokerindia.com (the "site"), how it is used, who it is shared with and the choices you have. "We", "us" and "our" refer to the operator of Best Stock Broker India.

Summary

  • You can read the whole site without creating an account or giving us personal information.
  • Our calculators run entirely in your browser; the numbers you type are not sent to us.
  • If you use the contact form, we receive the details you enter so we can reply.
  • Our web server keeps short-lived technical logs for security.
  • Where enabled, Google AdSense and analytics tools use cookies or similar technologies. You can control these as described below.
  • We do not sell personal information.

Information we collect

Information you give us. When you submit the contact form we receive your name, email address, subject and message, together with the date, time and IP address of the submission (used to prevent spam and abuse). We use this only to respond to you, to handle corrections and to keep a record of correspondence.

Server logs. Like almost every website, our web server automatically records technical data for each request: IP address, date and time, page requested, referring page, browser user-agent and response status. We use logs for security, preventing abuse and fixing errors. Server logs are rotated daily and deleted after about 14 days, unless needed longer to investigate a specific security incident.

Cookies and similar technologies. The site itself does not need cookies to work. Advertising and analytics services, where enabled, may set cookies or use similar identifiers. See the sections below and our cookie policy.

We do not ask for PAN, Aadhaar, bank, demat or trading-account details, and you should never send them to us.

Advertising (Google AdSense)

We may use Google AdSense to show advertisements. When ads are enabled:

  • Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this site or other websites.
  • Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the internet.
  • Google and its partners may collect information such as your IP address, device and browser identifiers, and the pages you visit, to serve, personalise, measure and protect ads against fraud.
  • You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings (or My Ad Center). You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalised advertising at www.aboutads.info/choices or, in Europe, www.youronlinechoices.eu.
  • If you opt out of personalised ads you may still see ads, but they will be based on general factors such as the page content or your approximate location.

Google explains how it uses information from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites, and how it uses cookies in advertising at policies.google.com/technologies/ads.

When advertising is enabled and you visit from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, a consent message from a Google-certified consent management platform (CMP) will ask for your choices before cookies are used for personalised advertising or other purposes that require consent. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time through the privacy/consent link provided by that message. Where consent is not given, only non-personalised or limited ads may be shown.

Analytics

If enabled, we may use Google Analytics 4 and/or Microsoft Clarity to understand, in aggregate, which pages are read and how the site is used, so we can improve it. These services may set cookies and receive information such as pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type, and interactions. Google Analytics does not log or store full IP addresses. You can install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on or block these cookies in your browser. Microsoft's practices are described in the Microsoft Privacy Statement.

How we use information

We use information to operate and secure the site, respond to messages and corrections, understand aggregate usage, and — where enabled — show advertising that funds the site. Depending on where you live, the legal basis is your consent (for example for personalised advertising cookies), our legitimate interest in running and securing a public website, or compliance with legal obligations.

Who we share information with

  • Hosting provider — the site and contact-form data are stored on a server we rent; the provider processes data only to host it.
  • Google and its advertising partners — when advertising is enabled, as described above.
  • Analytics providers — when enabled, as described above.
  • Authorities — where required by law or to protect the site and its users.

We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not share contact-form messages with brokers or advertisers.

International transfers

Advertising and analytics providers may process data outside India, including in the United States and the European Union, under their own safeguards and contractual commitments.

Retention

Contact-form messages are kept for as long as needed to handle the enquiry and maintain a record of corrections, and in any case no longer than 24 months unless a longer period is required by law. Server logs are kept for about 14 days. Server backups containing this data are stored with restricted access and kept for 14 days.

Children

The site is intended for adults and is not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Your rights

Subject to applicable law — including India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and, for visitors in the EEA/UK, the GDPR — you may ask to access, correct, update or erase personal data you have given us, withdraw consent you have given, object to or restrict certain processing, and raise a grievance. To make a request, use our contact form and choose "Privacy request". We will respond within a reasonable period and in any case within the time required by law. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority, or in India to the Data Protection Board once it is operational for such complaints.

Security

The site is served only over HTTPS. Access to the content-management system is restricted and password protected, and backups are stored on the server with restricted permissions. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect information.

Third-party websites

We link to brokers, regulators and other websites. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, which we encourage you to read.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our practices or the law change — for example when advertising or analytics is switched on. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page shows the current version.
