Our Research Team and Review Process
Who researches, writes and reviews the content on Best Stock Broker India, and how.
Every guide, broker review, comparison and calculator on Best Stock Broker India is produced by the BestStockBrokerIndia Editorial Team. We publish under a team byline rather than individual names, and we do not display qualifications or job titles that readers cannot verify. What we do show on every page is how the information was checked: the byline, the published and updated dates, the official sources used, and — for broker pages — the date the fees were last verified.
How a page is researched and reviewed
- Research. We collect each fact from a primary source: the broker's official pricing page, tariff sheet or account opening documents, and publications from SEBI, NSE, BSE, NSDL, CDSL and AMFI. Every figure is recorded together with its URL and the date it was accessed.
- Writing. The page is written in plain English, with worked examples where costs depend on order size. Where a broker does not clearly publish a charge, the page says so.
- Review. Before publication, the page is reviewed in a separate pass against the linked sources: every fee, SEBI and depository registration number and statutory rate is re-opened and compared with the official page. Calculator formulas are tested with sample and edge-case inputs.
- Publication. The page goes live with a "Reviewed by the BestStockBrokerIndia Editorial Team" line, its sources and the date of verification.
- Maintenance. Broker fees are re-checked at least once a quarter, and sooner when a broker or regulator announces a change or a reader reports an error. The "Fees checked on" date on each review is updated only after a full re-check.
Our standards
- Primary sources only — no forums, social media posts or unnamed sources for facts.
- No paid placement, no fake ratings, no invented user reviews or testimonials.
- No personalised investment advice or stock tips; derivatives pages carry SEBI's risk data.
- Errors are corrected promptly and material corrections are noted on the page.
