Our Research Team and Review Process

Every guide, broker review, comparison and calculator on Best Stock Broker India is produced by the BestStockBrokerIndia Editorial Team. We publish under a team byline rather than individual names, and we do not display qualifications or job titles that readers cannot verify. What we do show on every page is how the information was checked: the byline, the published and updated dates, the official sources used, and — for broker pages — the date the fees were last verified.

How a page is researched and reviewed

1. Research. We collect each fact from official sources: the broker's tariff sheet, pricing page, support articles or account opening documents, and publications from SEBI, NSE, BSE, NSDL, CDSL and AMFI. Every figure is recorded together with its URL and the date it was accessed. When a broker's own pages disagree we apply a fixed order of precedence (see our editorial policy).
2. Writing. The page is written in plain English, with worked examples where costs depend on order size. Where a broker does not clearly publish a charge, the page says so.
3. Checking. Before publication, the same team re-opens the linked sources in a separate checking pass and compares every fee, SEBI and depository registration number and statutory rate with them. Calculator formulas are tested with sample and edge-case inputs, and an automated build check blocks publication if a page contradicts our structured fee data.
4. Publication. The page goes live with the team byline, its sources and the date of verification. We do not show a separate "reviewed by" credit because research, writing and checking are done by one team.
5. Maintenance. Broker fees are re-checked at least once a quarter, and sooner when a broker or regulator announces a change or a reader reports an error. The "Fees checked on" date on each review is updated only after a full re-check.

• No personalised investment advice or stock tips; derivatives pages carry SEBI's risk data.
• Errors are corrected promptly and material corrections are noted on the page.
