Corrections Policy
How to report an error on Best Stock Broker India, how we verify and correct it, and how often fees are re-checked.
Last updated
Accuracy matters, especially for fees that affect what you pay. This page explains how to report an error and what we do about it.
How to report an error
Use our contact form and choose "Correction". Please include:
- the URL of the page;
- what you believe is incorrect; and
- ideally, a link to the broker's official pricing page, tariff sheet or the regulator's publication showing the correct information.
What happens next
- We verify. The BestStockBrokerIndia Editorial Team checks the claim against the official source. We do not change a fee on the basis of an unsourced claim, including claims from brokers themselves.
- We correct. If the page is wrong, we fix it promptly, update its "last updated" date and, for broker fees, the "Fees checked on" date.
- We note material corrections. Where a correction changes a fee, a registration detail or a conclusion, we add a short note to the page describing what changed and when. Minor edits (typos, formatting, broken links) are fixed without a note.
- We reply. If you gave us your email address, we will let you know the outcome.
Scheduled re-checks
Independently of reader reports, all broker fees are re-checked against official pages at least once a quarter, and whenever a broker or regulator announces a change (for example new STT or exchange transaction rates).
Broker requests
Brokers may notify us of fee changes. We verify them against the broker's official public pricing page in the same way as any other correction. Brokers cannot request changes to our opinions, lists or the order of rankings.
